With Microsoft discontinuing Publisher, Microsoft recommends converting existing .pub files to a more widely supported format such as PDF. If you only have a few Publisher files, that is fairly simple. If you have hundreds or thousands of them, manually opening and converting each file becomes a much larger task.

I created this utility to automate that process. It can scan selected folders, or all fixed drives, find Microsoft Publisher files, and convert them to PDF automatically using an installed copy of Microsoft Publisher.

This is especially useful for archiving older Publisher documents before Publisher is no longer available or practical to maintain.

Windows Security Warning

The program is not digitally signed, so Windows may display a SmartScreen or security warning the first time it is run. This does not indicate that the program is malicious; it simply means the executable does not have a commercial code-signing certificate.

The download below contains the current version of the converter.
